Why we started The Vine
People in our neighborhood are struggling. We see it every day, in marriages, in parenting, in anxiety, addiction, and grief. We started The Vine because we believe the Bible has something real to say about all of that. God’s Word isn’t just for Sundays; it speaks to everyday life.
The Vine Counseling Ministry is part of Heather Hills Baptist Church. We built it to serve people right here in Warren Township who need hope, help, and someone to walk with them. We’re not perfect. But we know a Savior who is. And we believe He can bring real healing, one conversation, one step at a time.

The Vine is a ministry of Heather Hills Baptist Church. It’s not a business. It’s not therapy for hire. It’s a part of how we care for people, both inside our church and in the neighborhoods around us.
Our church believes that real growth happens when people speak the truth in love, help each other with grace, and walk closely with Jesus. That’s what The Vine is all about, helping people grow in faith, even in the hard seasons.
Who Will You Meet Here?
Our counseling team is made up of men and women trained in biblical counseling. Each of them has walked through real struggles and real healing and now serves to guide others through the same. Every counselor at The Vine is actively pursuing or certified through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).

What Does “Biblical Counseling” Mean?
We believe the Bible is enough. That doesn’t mean we ignore real pain, it means we find answers from the one who made us. Biblical counseling is simply applying God’s Word to real life, with compassion, care, and patience. If you’re wrestling with anxiety, addiction, anger, broken trust, or deep sadness, we want to help you find hope in Christ.
We follow the training and standards of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). But more than that, we follow Jesus, the true Vine, who brings life, change, and peace that lasts.
